12W is expected to move NE or ENE along the northwestern periphery of an extension of the subtropical ridge at low latitudes. As HALOLA moves closer by t+24, 12W may be drawn by its circulation and accelerate towards the NE.

HALOLA's approach will also elevate vertical wind shear and 12W is thus expected to dissipate by t+36.
