Total Penumbral Eclipses, 1901 - 2100 CE | 公元 1901 至 2100 年內的半影月全食

"Total penumbral eclipse" is a lunar eclipse that misses the umbra of the Earth (hence "penumbral eclipse"), but at greatest eclipse the whole Moon is within the penumbra of the Earth. This situation is rather rare (a few per century on average) as the Moon is almost as wide as the penumbral path.

"半影月全食" 的發生需要兩個條件的配合:
1. 月食期間月球不經過地球的本影;
2. 食甚時整個月球需於地球半影內。
由於月球跟地球半影闊度相近,半影月全食發生頻率偏低,平均每世紀只出現數次。
