3-day Weather Forecast Data as of 11:30 HKT 27/Jul/2024

General Situation: An active southwest monsoon will continue to affect the coast of Guangdong today and tomorrow. A broad trough of low pressure will bring heavy showers and squally thunderstorms to the coast of southern China and the northern part of the South China Sea in the next couple of days. The trough of low pressure is expected to weaken slightly midweek next week. But there will still be a few showers over the coast of Guangdong. With an anticyclone aloft strengthening gradually, the weather will be brighter over southeastern China in the latter part of next week. Besides, the area of low pressure now bringing unsettled weather to the seas east of the Philippines will develop gradually in the next couple of days and will move towards the vicinity of Taiwan to Luzon Strait.
