Here is the latest weather bulletin issued by the Hong Kong
Observatory.

A southerly airstream affected the coast of Guangdong
yesterday. Locally, there were sunny periods. It was hot
during the day. Temperatures over most parts of the
territory rose to around 29 degrees. The southerly airstream
will continue to bring hot weather to the coast of Guangdong
today and tomorrow. A trough of low pressure will edge
closer to the coast of southern China gradually in the next
couple of days. There will be a few showers with chance of
isolated thunderstorms over the region.

Weather forecast for Hong Kong

Mainly cloudy. The minimum temperature will be about 25
degrees in the morning. Hot with sunny periods during the
day. The maximum temperature will be around 29 degrees in
the urban areas, and a couple of degrees higher in the New
Territories. Moderate southerly winds.

Outlook : Sunny intervals and a few showers from Friday to
early next week.
